  Kweichow Moutai Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as theCompany)is committed to establishing a sustainable packaging supply chain, emphasizing green and low-carbon initiatives to create sustainable value. We focus on reducing packaging waste, promoting environmentally friendly practices, and developing a responsible supply chain. We guide our suppliers in ESG management and foster their commitment to green and low-carbon development. This approach ensures that we deeply and effectively implement both national and corporate dual-carbon goals.

  公司明确所有包装材料以食品安全、无污染、可降解、可回收再利用为标准,遵循绿色设计理念和“3R1D”原则(即减量Reduce、再利用Reuse、再循环Recycle、降解腐化Degradable,充分考虑对资源和环境的影响,努力使制造过程中对环境的总体负影响降到最小。

  Kweichow Moutai mandates that all packaging materials meet standards for food safety, non-pollution, degradability, and recyclability. We adhere to green design principles and the 3R1Dprinciple (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Degradable), considering their impact on resources and the environment. Our goal is to minimize the overall negative environmental impact of our manufacturing processes.

  一、工作目标

  I. Objectives

  2027年,针对公司范围内的所有包装材料,可再生包材占比较2024年基准值提升8%

  By 2027, for all packaging materials across the Company, the proportion of renewable packaging materials will increase by 8% compared to the 2024 baseline value.

  2027年,基于公司已制定的《茅台酒空瓶回收项目实施方案》(适用于公司全部包装材料),持续推进茅台酒空瓶等包装材料的回收资源化再利用工作,并逐步向全国推广。

  By 2027, we will continue to promote the recycling and reuse of Moutai empty bottle recovery resources and gradually extend it to the whole country, based on the "Implementation Plan for the Recovery Project of Empty Moutai Bottles" (applicable to all packaging materials of the Company) formulated by the Company. 

  2030年,应用轻量化、减量化包材的产品占比较2024年基准值提升5%

  By 2030, the proportion of products utilizing lightweighted and reduced packaging materials will increase by 5% compared to the 2024 baseline value.

  2030年,针对公司范围内的所有包装材料,可重复使用、可回收包装材料占比超 95%  

  By 2030, for all packaging materials across the company, reusable and recyclable packaging will account for more than 95%.

  2030年,针对公司范围内的所有包装材料,可生物降解、可堆肥包装材料占比超41%

  By 2030, for all packaging materials across the Company, biodegradable and materials packaging will account for more than 41%.

  二、主要措施

  II. Specific Initiatives

  是探索轻量化材料。在保证包装强度、耐用性和安全性的前提下,使用更轻量的包装材料减少包装的总体积和重量,减少资源消耗。开展酒瓶轻量化改进攻关,采用纸塑复合材料、蜂窝纸板、轻质纸张、薄膜或薄型塑料等材料来替代传统的厚重材料。

  First, explore the use of lightweight materials. In our effort to ensure the strength, durability, and safety of packaging, we are committed to using lighter packaging materials to reduce overall volume and weight, thereby decreasing resource consumption. Our research and development will focus on creating lighter bottles using materials like paper-plastic composites, honeycomb cardboard, lightweight paper, thin films, and thin plastics, replacing traditional heavy materials.

  二是推进包材减量化。在保障产品质量与消费者体验的前提下,对可优化配置种类和数量的产品组织开展市场调研分析,通过功能优化、改进设计等方式,减少包材使用。取消31款酱香系列酒产品彩盒中的塑料套袋,减少塑料用量100吨;以循环载具替代一次性外包装纸箱,减少外包装纸箱使用量1100吨;在酱香系列酒超95%的产品中取消纸质说明书,减少包材配件。

  Second, advance packaging material reduction. While ensuring product quality and consumer experience, conduct market research and analysis on products which the types and quantities can be optimized, and reduce packaging material usage through functional optimization and design improvements. Eliminate plastic sleeves from the color boxes of 31 Jiang-flavor Baijiu series products, reducing plastic usage by over 100 tonnes; replace single-use outer cardboard boxes with reusable transport containers, reducing cardboard box consumption by over 1100 tonnes; and eliminate paper manuals from over 95% of Jiang-flavor Baijiu series products to reduce packaging accessories.

  三是推广使用可循环材料。推动使用可回收、可再利用的包装材料,减少废弃物的产生,减少对新资源的需求,促进资源的循环利用;探索稻草、酒糟在纸浆脱模包装中的应用;在部分塑料瓶盖、彩盒印刷、丝带可降解等方面推广生物质材料替代,预计在新开发茅台酒系列产品提袋中使用纸质提绳替代塑料绳。

  Third, promote the use of recyclable materials. We are committed to reducing waste and conserving natural resources through the adoption of recyclable and reusable packaging materials. Exploring the application of straw and distillers grains in pulp-based molded packaging and promoting the substitution of biomass-based materials for conventional materials in areas including plastic bottle caps, color box printing, and biodegradable ribbons. It was anticipated that paper-based carrying handles would be adopted to replace plastic cords in the gift bags for newly developed Moutai Baijiu product series.

  四是引入标准化和模块化设计。制定统一的包装标准和模 块化设计,实现包装的互换性和通用性,减少定制包装的需求, 降低材料消耗和生产成本。

  Fourth, introduce standardized and modular design. By developing uniform packaging standards and modular designs, we aim to enhance the interchangeability and versatility of our packaging. This will reduce the need for custom packaging, lower material consumption, and decrease production costs.

  五是降低包装过程材料损耗。有效降低减少包装过程损耗率。围绕酒瓶、瓶盖等损耗较大包装材料,抓牢关键节点。 

  Fifth, reduce material loss in the packaging process. We aim to effectively lower the loss rate during packaging, focusing on high-loss materials such as bottles and bottle caps.

  六是针对包装材料制定可行的回收计划,将加强废弃包装材料的回收利用作为总体战略研究并实施。加大废纸、废塑料、废酒瓶等再生资源回收利用力度,打造闭环回收链,提高资源重复利用率,鼓励开发废弃物高值化处理,推动废弃物高附加值利用。 

  2026年,公司与全体渠道商签订《环境保护承诺书》,要求渠道商积极推行茅台酒包装废弃物回收、存储、再利用,面向消费者发布《茅台酒空瓶回收环保倡议书》,倡导消费者参与。

  Sixth, formulate an extensive recycling program for packaging materials, and study and implement the enhancement of recycling of waste packaging materials as an overarching strategy. Intensify our efforts to recycle waste materials such as paper, plastic, and glass bottles to create a closed-loop recycling chain. By improving the rate of resource reuse and encouraging the high-value utilization of waste, we will drive the development of high-value-added applications for recycled materials. In 2026, we signed an Environmental Protection Commitment Letter with all distributors, requiring them to actively promote the recycling, storage, and reuse of Moutai Baijiu packaging waste, and issued a Consumer Environmental Initiative on Empty Bottle Recycling to consumers, encouraging their participation .

  七是大力推广绿色物流。优化运输车队和路线,探索包材托盘化运输工作,持续推动包材去纸质周转箱运输工作,鼓励供应商在内部使用可循环周转箱代替一次性或不可循环的周转箱,降低资源浪费和环境污染,鼓励供应商优化运输方式,积极开展绿色物流应用研究,加快绿色清洁能源运输车辆的投入,减少运输过程碳排放

  Seventh, promote green logistics. Improve in fleet and routes, explore the use of pallets for transporting packaging materials and continuously promote the use of paperless turnover boxes.We encourage suppliers to replace single-use or non-recyclable turnover boxes with reusable ones to reduce resource waste and environmental pollution. Additionally, we will work with suppliers to optimize transportation methods, research green logistics practices, accelerate the deployment of green and clean energy vehicles, and reduce carbon emissions during transportation.

  八是加强全体消费者的回收教育工作。持续增加环保宣传和环保标志,倡导绿色发展理念,以标签形式向全体消费者进行包装材料的回收宣传。积极探索酒瓶、瓶盖等包装材料的绿色回收活动,充分调动消费者积极性,激发消费者的环保意识。

  Eighth, strengthen recycling education for all consumers. Continuously increase environmental protection publicity and environmental protection signs, advocate the concept of green development, and promote the recycling of packaging materials to all consumers in the form of labels. Actively explore green recycling activities for packaging materials such as wine bottles and caps to fully mobilize consumers and stimulate their environmental awareness.

  九是持续深化包材绿色供应链建设。构建供应商碳排放管理和协同减排体系,推动原材料生产、加工制造、包装、运输和物流企业持续碳减排,加速上下游供应链企业碳中和转型,供应链碳排放显著下降。

  Ninth, continue to deepen the development of a green supply chain for packaging materials. Establish a supplier carbon emission management and collaborative reduction system, drive continuous carbon reduction across raw material production, manufacturing operations, packaging, transportation, and distribution. Accelerate the carbon neutrality transformation of both upstream and downstream supply chain enterprises, significantly reducing overall supply chain carbon emissions

  1 Refers to packaging materials that are reusable and recyclable, meaning they can be converted into resources such as reusable fertilizers and cultural creative products through appropriate technical treatment, rather than being actually reused or recycled.
